The cafe racer trend has spit out some of the most creative bicycle builds in history, merely the consequence of customizing is leading to the extinction of archetype models. The c-racer was created in response to this trend and is instead congenital around a new donor bike – the Skyteam Ace 125, a modern replica of the iconic Honda RC 110 from the 1960s. This means no harming of historical bikes and 0 miles on the odometer for the new owner!

It'southward been designed from what Nikos Manafis' refers to equally a nostalgic retrofuturistic approach. For the futuristic part, inspiration was drawn from earlier ideas most the time to come – a seamless monocoque torso with art deco influence from the 30s, and a 80s futuristic movie flair. The monocoque body is made using aerospace grade fiberglass to ensure high force and flexibility, important factors for the cantilever blueprint.

Buffet racers aren't designed with ergonomics in heed, and the c-racer is no exception. The user feel, however, is enhanced by an exaggerated lean-forwards riding position that invites the user to "hug" the monocoque body. In this position, the sense of speed is increased and the rider's gaze is directed directly ahead on the route as well as the minimal motogadget estimate.
